Welcome to my website!

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at York University and am currently on the academic job market. My research is motivated by a simple idea: economic choices depend not only on the opportunities people face, but also on what they believe those opportunities to be. I study this idea across decisions about college, migration, and labor-market participation, combining microdata with quantitative models to examine how imperfect information and structural barriers distort choices, misallocate talent, and shape aggregate outcomes.
